New surgical techniques and treatment options are now available that can assist the orthopaedic surgeon in the treatment of complex fractures. This workshop will:
- Describe specific reduction techniques for femur fractures
- Identify the indications for intramedullary nail fixation in femur fractures, and
- Encourage participants to practice reduction and intramedullary nailing techniques on synthetic bone models
1105 - 1330 Conmed Linvatec Workshop: Advanced Concepts in Rotator Cuff Repair (lunch is included)
Speaker: Craig R. Bottoni, MD
ConMed Linvatec is pleased to present current and advanced concepts in arthroscopic rotator cuff repair. Intraoperative tear classification and subsequent repair techniques of Single-row, Double-row and Trans Osseous Equivalent (TOE) repairs will be discussed. These techniques will be explored through the use of presentations and a multi-station hands-on model lab. Attendance and participation of this mini-workshop will provide a comprehensive understanding of state-of-the-art techniques for advancement in arthroscopic rotator cuff repair. Registration is required at the ConMed Linvatec booth.
