OPEN CALL FOR NOMINATIONS (Submission Deadline: January 30th)
If you or someone you know would like to become more involved in the organization, now is your chance! The 2012 Nominating Committee will hold an open call for nominations to fill the vacant position of AAOS Board of Specialty Representative – Communications Committee on the 2012 SOMOS Board of Directors. In addition, there are several opportunities to assist the organization through its many committees. Applications will be accepted through January 30, 2012 via the online system.  CDR Michael Mazurek Clinician Scholar Award
(Submission Deadline: March 15th)
The CDR Michael Mazurek Clinician Scholar Award will be presented annually to a SOMOS member who has demonstrated the potential and desire to become an orthopaedic clinician scholar. This award will recognize the individual who best exemplifies CDR Mazurek's commitment to excellence in military orthopaedic education and research.
