SOMOS RESEARCH GRANT LETTER OF INTENT GUIDELINES

  1. The SOMOS Research Committee requests that prospective applicants submit a letter of intent (LOI) prior to the submission of the grant application. The LOI should include the following:
    • Descriptive title of proposed research
    • Name, address, and telephone number of the Principal Investigator(s)
    • Names of other key personnel
    • Participating institutions
    • Brief description of the proposed research, including hypothesis and design
    • A statement on the relevance the research has to the mission of SOMOS and military orthopaedic care
    • Letters must be formatted on department letter head, single spaced
  2. Letters should be addressed to SOMOS Research Committee and can be submitted via e-mail to [email protected]
